Festivals – ‘Hey Girl’ / ‘Checkin’ Out’ – Blue Rock 4076 (USA)

Arguably The Festivals’s best record (though they had some nice sounds on the Smash and Colossus labels also). Both sides are great, though I dare say ‘Hey Girl’ is the one that’s getting most of the attention. This copy comes in its original Blue Rock sleeve!

Condition: Excellent; there are a few tiny marks and scuffs, but nothing audible (please listen to the clip). The ‘Hey Girl’ label shows some wear and has a number in marker pen and a name in ballpoint; the ‘Checkin’ Out’ label is clean with mild signs of wear. There’s a cut-out hole just outside the label at four o’clock; while it does not affect the playing of the disc at all, you may wish to lift the stylus when the music is through (please see the label scan, and listen to the last seconds of the clip).
