Description

 

Offered is the first catalog issue (Blue Note 1) done

by the legendary pianist Meade "Lux" Lewis,

"Melancholy" and "Solitude."


This 12" record is from Blue Note's very first session

in NYC on January 6, 1939.


The record is in excellent to excellent-minus (E to E-)

condition with some light surface scuffs. There are

several very small scuffs on the Melancholy label (note-despite photo appearance, center hole not damaged).
