Description
This Stereo record has been in my ownership since it was bought back in 1970 when it was produced. I am not a professional seller so I will try to describe it and use the photos to show it’s condition. This is the original puppet cover. It is titled Band of Gypsy on the cover and Band of Gipsies on the label. It is number 2406 002. The matrix numbers are 2406002 A^1 11 7 and 2406002 B=1 1111 The cover is very good. The corners are clean. There are signs of ringing where it has been stored. The cover is printed and made by MacNeill Press Ltd. The spine is clean. The record plays perfectly. It is very shiny and the labels are clean with very little spindle marks at all. There are two very fine line scratches, one on each side, but they do not effect the sound quality. There are no pits or lumps or jumps. There are only clicks between the tracks as you always get with a vinyl record. This record is in excellent condition given it’s age. I have not cleaned it as I don’t want to damage it. I will wrap it carefully and send it Royal Mail Special Delivery at a cost of £9 which is a bit more expensive but will insure it for up to £500.
