Description

Five 10” Vinyl Records 78RPM.

These records are in good condition, but due to their age have some marks and the sound quality is consistent with the sound produced in those earlier days. All bar one have given their covers the slip.

These are rare recordings and while popular in their time, they are difficult to find the these days.

They include:

1. The Parrot, a Samba conducted by Ethel Smith on a Decca Recording, backed by the Rumba Paran Pan Pin Cachita.

2. Jubilation T. Cornpone, that jazzy number from the hit musical L’il Abner recorded on Coronet by Mitch Miller and his Orchestra and Choir, backed by Whistle Stop from the play New England Suite.

3. Slim Whitman’s huge hitsong China Doll recorded on Decca and backed by the hauntingly beautiful hit from the musical Rose Marie.

4. The extremely humourous hit for Carson Robinson Life Gets Tee- Jus Don’t It, and backed By More ‘N More Tee-Jus Ain’t It and recorded on M-G-M.

5. Recorded on Regal Zonophone, the Sheik of Scrubby Creek himself, Chad Morgan presents the highly humourous, The Psychiatrists Joy From Kingaroy, Backed by Going Home.

These two tunes will bring out the belly laughs.
