Description
Five Royales, The Rockin' 5 Royales, Apollo LP 488, original yellow label copy from 1956.
Vinyl = Fair+ : Please Read! There is a defective small warp that affects play on the first song of each side ("Baby Don't Do It" on side 1 and "What's That" on side 2). Both songs skip, and as a result of this, will not play through normally on my turntable. The other 10 songs grade G+ to VG-. They play through fine with some pops from scratches, but no skips on my turntable. There are multiple scratches, most are light, but there are 2-3 that are "feelable" and cause some popping. The record still retains a shiny gloss and the labels are clean.
Cover = strong VG: small 1"top seam split at opening and 2" seam split in middle. Spine and bottom seam are both intact with mild wear. Front and back covers are in good shape with minor tear at bottom left portion of back cover (see photos).
A very rare LP that has 10 of the 12 songs in good condition. This is a filler copy for the serious collector, but is not for the audiophile looking for a near mint copy. Money back minus shipping costs if not satisfied. PayPal preferred.
