Description

A 1st press on UK Blue Horizon. Matrix A1/B1. Whenever I purchase this title I nearly always end getting hacked off because most copies have always been overplayed/overused. I guess - a sign of some great music! But what you really want to hear is those GREEN licks in perfectly preserved analogue sound. For that you really need quite an unusually lightly used example...like we have here!!! The vinyl comes housed in an original cover..NO stickers anywhere..!!! .There's also the original inner too. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen lightest use. Excellent lustre. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slightest marking per side - nothing remotely problematic. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with two slight deviations per side. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Lots of raw energy as you would expect from a near master copy. Super quiet background and this SO SO IMPROTANT on this title. Anyone remember Albatross? Well, then should be well aware this track is, like, MEGAFUSSY. In fact, this is the first time I've ever sat through it and thought...you know what - that was really superb. And that is a RARE THING. The Green licks need near perfect reproduction and that is from a track which is extremely popular and heavily played [often]. All I witnessed was a couple of static rustles in a couple of isolated spots. Not perfect....but close. BMW is absolutely amazing...The harmonica is just so well resolved on Somebody it is scary!. Really worth holding out for a well preserved copy. Expect a couple of crackles briefly in a couple of spots per side. A couple of isolated ticks in two spots per side.. It is acing it even into the lowkey fussy moments. Superb. If the audio is of utmost importance.....you should be seriously considering this one<
Cover (Ex/Ex-) A real pain to find in decent condition - many get worn and look beleaguered. But take a close look at this example ...it's UNBELIEVABLY well preserved. The front looks near PERFECT....never seen better..Very flat and shiny with just a couple of thumbnails, and slight sticker residue top right  The rear looks great too with hardly any wear at all - nice smooth feel to it too. please note the original owner has signed it in the top left photo. Thankfully, it is written neatly and in a considerate colour.. So much so that I thought it was actually part of the original design! Hardy any edge wear and sharp openings.  The spine is 98% intact. Four pointy corners. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A super looking specimen. Please note one label has been signed.
