Description
This listing is for a still factory sealed vinyl LP of the album by Fleetwood Mac called Rumours.
This is the sought after and well-regarded reissue of the album released in 2011.
Specifically, this is the Pallas pressing made in Germany.
Pressed at the Pallas Group vinyl pressing plant in Diepholz, Germany.
AAA-cut directly from the original analog master tapes by legendary mastering engineers by Steve Hoffman and Kevin Gray
This is the single disc 33 RPM version being sold here. A double LP version cut at 45 RPM was also released.
Pressed on standard weight black vinyl.
And while this is technically not specifically an audiophile release in the strictest sense, Audiophiles praise it for its massive dynamic range, incredible instrument separation, and the fact that the lacquers were cut "wide open" with zero dynamic compression.
This release (along with its double LP counterpart) are considered by many to be the best sounding reissues of this album.
The copy being sold was personally purchased from Mike Esposito at The In Groove record store years ago.
Since then, it's been stored away in a smoke-free climate-controlled home.
As mentioned this record is a sealed copy, so the record itself is presumed to be in mint or near mint, unplayed condition.
Though there are never any guarantees when it comes to older sealed vinyl.
The sealed cardboard sleeve has mostly minor to moderate signs of shelf wear visible through the shrink wrap.
There's one spot on the right side of the jacket with a small portion of cardboard creasing that's visible (see photo).
There are also very faint signs of ring wear, but it's hard to tell if that's just down the outer shrink or the jacket itself, but it's very light.
The shrink wrap itself is still pretty tight. And the original hype sticker is still firmly attached and in good condition.
