Various Artists -- Flex Your Head LP first pressing (Dischord -- 1982) This is the "Violin Cover" first pressing -- 4,000 copies pressed, the Web tells me. The cover's a bit worn (as the photo shows) from, I guess, nearly 2 1/2 decades of boxing & re-boxing for moves from Arizona to Arkansas, to Louisiana, back to Arkansas, & finally to Alabama ... The vinyl's in great shape, though. I played it once all the way through for taping purposes, & took it out only another couple of times to add certain favorite songs -- like Minor Threat's cover of "12X&U" & Red C's "Pressure's On" -- to *warning! nostalgia alert* mix tapes. Lyric/band booklet is included. Apparently, the early copies (or maybe the entire first pressing?) came without one, but I wrote away to Dischord & got one back, with a handwritten note (pictured) on back from some Dischordian (probably a U.S. senator now, or something) about how the printer had messed up in omitting them.
