Offered for sale at a low (no-reserve) price is an original 78rpm record in E- condition of the infamous Florence Foster Jenkins performing (to the best of her limited abilities) "The Bell Song" from the opera Lakme, backed with "Musical Snuff Box" and "Like a Bird" on the flip side.
I have graded this record by playing on a Denon DP-DJ151 turntable with a Stanton 500 cartridge with professional 3.0mil elliptical stylus and modern cartridge. You can listen to the actual audio of this record as I have uploaded both sides.
No notable flaws, labels are complete on both sides (with minor needle runs), record is clean and plays through on both sides with only minor surface noise (typical of Melotone pressings). Slight surface scuffs not affecting play.
78rpm records are quite fragile - this record will be properly packed for safe shipping in an oversized box, with packing material, and record stabilized with thick cardboard.
