Description
This is an album by the band Fools Face. It’s titled Public Places. It’s on Talk Records and was released in 1983.
I do not know a lot about the band. I believe the guys were from somewhere in MO based on info in the album. However I might be wrong. This is some of the best 1980s Power Pop I have heard.!! This would also be enjoyed by fans of The Knack, The Dwight Twilley Band, Phil Seymour, The Shoes and probably the Greg Kihn Band.
I don’t know why these guys were not all over the radio and more well know. This is a great album.
I know both albums by this band are hard to find and fairly rare.
The cover is not mint but it is in decent shape for being over 40 years old as it was released in 1983. The cover front and back does show some wear. It has some light ring wear. Please look at the photos and If you want more please ask. The albums inserts are all in good shape.
I am not a professional record dealer. I don’t just look at the record, but I play test every album I sell unless it’s sealed. I would not sell anything I would not be comfortable buying myself.
I played this album and besides a few snap, crackle and pops you hear in almost any vinyl record, it played great. I heard no skips on either side. It was an enjoyable listen.
I know how picky many vinyl listeners are,so I rate on the conservative side. We all hear with different ears. The record is used and over 40 years old. It’s not mint so I will give the record a VG+
