Scotland's Forever More offer up a laid back selection of Progressive Acoustic Rock and rural folky blues. 'Promises of Spring' shows some good harder guitar driven rock, while 'Put your money on a pony' has a big rockin' build up. Kind of like if Keef Hartley Band was backing up Terry Reid on an unreleased album circa 1970.
The Most Valuable Player here has to be drummer, Stuart Francis. His Humble Pie-like hard-hitting rolls and crashes keeps the lighter acoustic numbers moving. Cover is holding tight in it's original 55 year old shrinkwrap. Looks real good, although a small stress mark under the 'S' prevents the cover from an solid NM, but no be bends, tears, or splits. Vinyl shows signs of use and some lines and light scuffs on side 2. Cleaned an play tested, sounds great! Call it an honest VG+++. Apparently Forever More evolved into the more groovy rocking Glencoe, whose 1972 self titled LP, although starting out kind of good, devolves into tedious acoustic rock dullness.
