Description
Four Rare Filmophone 10” 78rpm Flexible Records c.1930
Made of coloured Durium (two red, two green) by Chappell of London
Cat. No. 226 Leave The Rest To Nature / I’m So Used To You - Billee Lockwood Orchestra (red)
Cat. No. 257 The Adventures Of General Tiny The One Eyed Cat Parts 1 & 2 - Uncle Roy (green)
Cat. No. 305 The Vagabond / My Old Shake - Reginald Herbert (red)
Cat. No. 337 Mother Town / If I Might Come To You - Eve St Clare (green)
All are in good / very good condition in that there is little sign of wear and minimal / very light scratches if any, however, the latter two (cat. nos. 305 & 337) have a degree of dullness over a portion of the playing surface, though this would not be expected to significantly affect audio quality. Note also that these Durium records do not lie completely flat - this is normal but it may then be necessary to place a weight on the tone arm to prevent jumping / skipping during play.
