Description
This is a soundtrack LP for two films (one on each side). The first side is by Francesco De Masi for the 1972 Italian comedy "Ettore lo Fusto" ("Hector the Mighty"), directed by Enzo G. Castellari (co-written by Lucio Fulci) and featuring Giancarlo Giannini, Phillipe Leroy, Rosanna Schiaffino and Vittorio De Sica (!). The second side is by Carlo Rustichelli for the 1971 Italian political comedy / mystery "In Nome del Popolo Italiano", directed by Dino Risi and featuring Vittorio Gassman and Ugo Tognazzi. The score by Maestro De Masi was performed by the progressive rock group "Il Punto" and features beat / funk / psychedelic / progressive styles; the score by Maestro Rustichelli is more atmospheric than one might expect for a comedy, and features the song "Non Dovrei" which is sung by Franco Morselli. The very rare LP was released on Beat Records (LPF 012 S) in 1972. Vinyl is in VG+ shape (a surface mark exists on side 1, track 1 which looks to be a pressing defect), cover is in VG+ shape (some corner wear).
