Description

Frank Croxton/Peerless Quartet on Keen-O-Phone 5022 ultra rare,nice shape

Here is a quote from a completed sale which aptly describes another copy of this rare 78:

"KEEN-O-PHONE 5022  [c. 1912-1913]  ... I am offering it as a filler for those who wish to own it for the discography
Note: This is a very rare label. Keen-O-Phone lasted from 1912-1914 based in Philadelphia. These were vertical records like the early Pathe brand. It required a special turntable to play them on as they were not compatable with Victor or Columbia. Obviously I can't play them either but I'm offering this hoping that someone may actually have a Keen-O-Phone phonograph"

I also do not own a Keen-O-Phone player. The record described above was graded V-, visually graded. The copy that I am offering is also visually graded and I think it's more like V+/E-.
There is substantial luster, very little in the way of marks or other defect. There is a very light colored, off center circular mark on the Croxton side. This record is remarkably well preserved, and likely a welcome addition to the serious collector.

I do not ship to Italy. I like to have transactions completed within a week of the auction ending, or I reserve the right to sell as a 2nd chance or to re-list. I will send a friendly reminder after 5 days if payment has not been received. I make every effort to ship the same day that I receive payment, although it’ll go the next day if payments are received on Sunday or after 5:00 PM. I like to leave positive feedback upon payment.
