Description

This is the original deep-groove “P”-pressing of Frank Foster “Here Comes Frank Foster” on the Lexington Avenue labels of Blue Note BLP 5043. The flat rim playing surface shows light superficial surface wear. Side 2 has two hairline, one of which extends from Track 1 into Track 2, and is inaudible; the other hairline on track two is audible for about 8 revolutions. Otherwise, the sound quality is excellent, clean and crisp with no distortion. The frame cover is clean throughout; ¼” wear on the bottom seam, at the opening.
