Frank Lowe-"Black Beings" LP- You are bidding on a sealed original copy of the classic ESP-Disk free jazz album "Black Beings" by tenor saxophonist Frank Lowe. This album showcases Lowe's ability to move between the categories of "avant-garde" and "hard bop" or even "soul jazz" at the same time, tapping into the legacy of John Coltrane(after whom he titles the LP's first cut). "Black Beings" features one of the first performances of  now-famous bassist William Parker as well as a knockout job by AACM member Joseph Jarman(whose LPs I will also be selling).
