Frank Sinatra MFSL Original Master Recording 16-LP Vinyl Box Set, Plus Geo-Disc, all in Excellent Condition.
In 1977, Mobile Fidelity began to produce a line of records known as "Original Master Recording" vinyl LP's. These albums were previously released by other companies, licensed by Mobile Fidelity, and remastered using half-speed mastering from the original analog master tapes, without compression, and with minimal equalization. The recordings were pressed in Japan using a plastic compound, invented by JVC, and marketed as "Supervinyl" by Mobile Fidelity.
This limited edition #4816, LP Box Set is in Excellent condition, with the vinyl records themselves having no visible flaws. Each LP has the original cellophane sleeve, album cover and box set sleeve and the Geo-Disc has it's original sleeve/cover, all of them being in near perfect condition as well. While the box is cardboard and has a couple dings (see photo) there is no separation or cracking at the joints. This whole box set is in Excellent Condition, was rarely (some, if ever) listened to and when/if used, very well maintained and respected. Additional photos are available upon request.
