Here is a great find; a beautiful copy of the limited-edition box set "BEAT THE BOOTS I" by the Ilegendary FRANK ZAPPA, released by Rhino Records in 1991. Includes eight LPs (two of which are doubles) of recordings previously only available as bootlegs. Performances represented were done between 1967 and 1979. A pretty incredible packaging job on this one as well; it comes in a heavy outer box with a pop-up scene of Zappa playing to an audience that greets you when you open it up. Also included is the T-shirt that came inside (unused), the "Beat The Boot" button that was included at the time of release and the original descriptive sticker from the original shrink wrapping. NICE! All LPs come with the same cover art they had when originally booted. This is a nice copy; almost all of the LPs easily rate M-, and the only ones that are any less than that are the strongest EX (right on the edge of M-) with just a one or two very faint hairline sleeve scuffs visible in bright light. All covers are M- or the strongest EX as well. Outer box is EX with only the lightest signs of wear or age. A total monster release, and a must for the dedicated Zappa vinyl hound..  VERY hard to find nice, complete examples of this one, so don't pass this up!
