Description

About This Record.  This is an original US copy of Frank Zappa's Must have 1966 debut, the first (?) rock n roll (rock?) 2LP.  This is the sought after original in gatefold form with the Freak Map "blurb" that advertised a Freak Map you could mail in $1.00 for (see 4th photo); check your copy, probably not there!  But no Freak Map here.  I've never seen a copy.  But I've never seen another copy of this LP like this, and I've stored this puppy for more than 20 years. 

 

Oh, Top Copy.  Yes, when I say Top Copy, I mean it.  See my feedback (how many claim they have a top copy of the 13th Floor Elevators first LP and get appropriate feedback?)

Vinyl Condition.  M-.  Period.  My highest grade.  I have never played this, and have no reason to suspect it has ever been played.  The person I bought it from 20+ years ago, said they opened it but never played it.

 

Label Condition.  The labels are in M- condition.  No spindle marks or evidence of play.

 

Cover Condition.  The cover is a nice EX+ cover.  Very slight hint of ringwear and some corner wear.  Impossible to upgrade.  Because of the black edges of the cover, usually they show significant wear, especially lots of ringwear like the other copies offered for sale.

 

Shipping and Payment.  PayPal only.  I ship promptly worldwide and do not overcharge for shipping . . . contact me if you paid more than the USPS postage sticker on your package and I’ll happily refund you the difference.  I will ship by any method you want.  But if you do not insure, the record will be shipped at your own risk.  I offer full refund on all records including shipping both ways (but no swapping records or covers!).
