THE MOTHERS OF INVENTION - FREAK OUT! (US VERVE, V-5005-2, 1966)

Here we have a nice copy of FZ's legendary debut, this is the very first US MONO PRESSING, the double album as Zappa intended! The mono mix is still unavailable and has some differences to the stereo mix. The sleeve also has the 'Freak Map' blurb which was removed from later copies (see 3rd pic). This very rarely turns up now, and has come from my personal collection. I'd say this is the rarest US Verve FZ album. Don't miss out!

Vinyls are in VG+ condition : not bad overall - disc 1 has a few light marks which do not affect play and plays very well, disc 2 has quite a few light surface marks and plays with light surface noise
Gatefold sleeve is in VG+ condition : has some light ringwear and scuffs around the edges, the spine is fine, there are two seam splits on both top edges measuring approx. 5cm each, not too bad
