Up for your Consideration is this Frank Zappa Box Set- “The Old Masters Box One”…Distributed by Barking Pumpkin Records…BPR 7777… ZM1 –02790… Very limited 6 LP box set  w/cover photo lithograph  in the set is a 28pg 12 x 12 Information Book…and a 4 pg 11 x 11 Order Form Booklet…the 1st   Album is BPR 7777-1-The Mothers Of Invention “Freak Out” 2-LP Vinyl’s 1-3 both in M Condition look like they have never been played –Cover EX++ top seams to cover are a little scuffed and a couple of corner dings…2nd Album-BPR 7777-2- The Mothers of Invention “Absolutely Free” LP Vinyl 5 M Condition again looks like it has never been played…Cover NM Condition No issues…3rd Album-BPR 7777-3 -The Mothers of Invention “We’re Only in it for the Money”…LP Vinyl 7 M Condition don’t think it has ever been played…Cover NM Condition 2 corner little dings...it has a Cardboard sheet reads “Only Money Cut-Outs” and has lots of fun things to cut out…4th Album BPR 7777-4- Frank Zappa “Lump Gravy- LP Vinyl 9 NM Condition looks like it’s never been played…Cover NM Condition has 3 small corner dings…5th Album BPR 7777-5- The Mothers of Invention “Cruising With Ruben and the Jets”…LP Vinyl 11 NM again looks like it hasn’t been played…Cover NM no issues… in the album is a page of “Bop Dance Step Instructions” and a page “How to Comb and Set a Jellyroll” too funny…says the record is going to make you want to dance…and last but not least the 6th Album BPR 7777-6- Frank Zappa “Mystery Disc”…LP Vinyl 13 M and the Cover NM…these are all Zappa's first vinyl remixes…and from what the book says they were hard to come by because the way MGM stored them they were almost trashed…speaking of trashed…the box to this set is less than perfect I would say it is at best a G+ the top has a side missing and so does the bottom… the inner box is great and everything else in it is NM to M Condition… overall what I see is a Used 33RPM Album Box Set in NM-Condition. One of the most difficult Zappa pressings to find and an important component of his catalog… A must for any serious Zappa collection….  I have listed a rating chart below... I inspect everything under bright spot light and state what I see, plus I have the album played for sound quality... I DO NOT pre-package so the quote from the eBay Shipping Wizard is not ALWAYS the actual amount, it could be higher or even lower once the item is packed and ready to be shipped. I am 65yrs old, I live on SS which isn't much but I am grateful to have it. Ebay is my Bread and butter since I am fond of eating, I can't afford to ship for free but I am believing God for that to happen...Until then, I charge between $3.00 to $4.00 S/H fee, (depends on how big the package is)I recycle as much as possible to make shipping cheaper.
