Diese Doppel-LP, veröffentlicht 1979 in Australien (Phoenix Records 44786) kombiniert die 1974 veröffentlichten Einzel-LPs "Poot Face Booogie" (TAKRL 1909) und "Safe Muffinz" (TAKRL 1929).Der Inhalt der LPs sind ziemlich gute (und urkomische!) 1970/71 Flo & Eddie-ära Aufnahmen, plus drei rare Studioaufnahmen und einigen Interviews.
Bei der Rotterdam-Aufnahme singen die Mothers statt des normalerweise deutsch vorgetragenen Textes den holländischen Text "Geef mij wat vloerbedekking / Onder deze vette zwevende sofa"!
Nach fast 50 Jahren kann man immer noch Spaß mit diesen Aufnahmen haben, ein absolutes Muß in jeder Zappa-Sammlung!
Das Cover hat leichte Abnutzungserscheinungen an den Kanten, ansonsten top.
LPs sind perfekt, wie neu.

This double LP put out in 1979 in Australia (Phoenix Records 44786) combines the 1974-released LPs "Poot Face Booogie" (TAKRL 1909) and "Safe Muffinz" (TAKRL 1929).The LPs are made up of two pretty good (and hilarious!) 1970/71 Flo & Eddie-Era recordings, plus three rare studio cuts and some interviews.
On the Rotterdam recording of "Sofa", the Mothers sing the Dutch lines "Geef mij wat vloerbedekking / Onder deze vette zwevende sofa" instead of the usual German!
After almost 50 years, still an enjoyable listen and a must in every Zappa collection!
The sleeve has only light wear at the edges, otherwise it's fine.
LPs are perfect, like new.
