Frank Zappa & the Mothers of Invention, 'Weasels Ripped My Flesh'.
Original UK Reprise Tan RSLP label stereo press LP.
The partner album to Burnt Weeny Sandwich and the tenth overall by Zappa, issued after a planned box set release in 1970 was scrapped! Ever wondered what Avante Garde sounds like? Look no further! The LP has the earliest A-2 B-2 matrices and A-1 A-2 stampers, with the Warner Bros label credit on the bottom of the label.
The Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd matt gatefold sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light edge/corner wear, a few faint creases and some light storage rubbing on the outer cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain inner is intact & is in EX condition. The record is in visually EX condition, with only a few very faint & wispy sleeve removal hairlines and one or two small needle marks visible under bright light. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a couple of faint spindle markings and the record retains all its original shine. The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief background noise during the run in grooves, overall a really great, clear & punchy listen! The matrix nos. are; RSLP-2028, A-2 stamper A-1, B-2 stamper A-2. This is one of the very early copies of the 1st press of the original 1970 UK stereo issue of this album!!
All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund of original price & postage on return of the record (no partial refunds), no quibbles, no problems!! All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide. All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!! UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2 KG!,
Will post to Europe (including all EU countries & Russia, Finland, Sweden, etc.) and Rest of the World (USA, Japan, Australia, Korea etc.), but airmail is limited to 5 or 6 lp's due to weight restrictions.
