Here is one of THE big Frankie Goes To Hollywood collectibles, an exclusive US-only 12" pressing of their single "Welcome To The Pleasuredome" (from the album of the same name), pressed on clear transparent vinyl and featuring three tracks, one of them a remix of "Pleasuredome" that was never released anywhere else but here.

I am sure you Frankie rage-hards already know what this is, but I will describe it in further detail in case you weren't aware of it. It comes in a clear PVC sleeve with a clasp on the top to seal it off, the clasp has a long color sticker on it, see the image.
There's a letter inside of it from an Island representative who must have been in charge of Frankie's US promotion. He indicates that this was a test pressing that was never going to be released commercially, and he "rescued them" to send them out to certain key DJs who helped with Frankie's US success.
The KZAP mix is the only one that's exclusive to this 12". A little bit about this mix; I am a big fan of Frankie's "Pleasuredome" album. The single and album track "Welcome to the Pleasuredome" was always my favorite on the album itself. The KZAP edit is an absolute revelation! It's basically the album version edited and mixed down to about half its album runtime, but there are numerous subtle differences that I found spine-tingling, including the re-equalization of Holly Johnson's voice during certain passages of the song. It also makes for great listening because it doesn't run for 12 minutes plus like the album cut does. It is definitely worth it.
The "Trevor Horn Re-mix" is the same version that was the single cut, as well as in the video. The live verison of "Relax" was released commercially as "Relax International", I believe.
The condition of the item is excellent! I would call it near mint except for a few slight imperfections. PVC sleeves never hold up well, but this one is nearly perfect. PVC sleeves usually get brown as time goes by, but this one has discolored only slightly over the years, kept out of the light and out of sight by a stack of other records. There's some record indentation in the sleeve, as is to be expected, and a very slight rub mark on the sticker from the record inside. But the sticker itself is in excellent shape.
The vinyl appears to have only been played a few times. I played it once to record the tracks as MP3s and it sounded great. A little bit of crackle at the beginning and ends of the tracks, but otherwise very clean. Visually it appears near mint, there are no spindle trails on the label and no visible marks on the vinyl.
The letter itself is the original copy included with the 12" when it was sent out to DJs, and having the letter really completes this Frankie rarity...I've seen it for sale only once before; the letter wasn't included (or wasn't mentioned in the description or the item picture), and the sleeve was pretty beat up. This copy is very clean and very wonderful, a gorgeous surprise pulled from the untouched archives of a professional DJ who probably never played this gem and merely kept it in storage.
