Listing some killer pieces from my personal collection today. Check out my other auctions for more great vinyl. I do combine shipping. $4 for the first lp, $2.25 for each additional.
Here we have one of the holy grails for any serious Fred McDowell collector. A true first pressing of his first album on the Arhoolie label. Paste on cover, no zip code, half and half label....this is the real deal folks. To say this piece is rare is an understatement. The vinyl is a strong VG+ with a few very light marks that don't detract from the music. NO deep marks. The cover is VG- due to 1 inch split at the opening on top. Bottom seam wear at opening. The spine is a bit faded, has significant wear but is still slightly legible and not split. All in all it's a great copy of a truly rare blues masterpiece. Happy bidding and good luck.
Grading Scale:
SS: Still Sealed
NM: No Marks of any kind
VG++: one or two light marks that will not affect play.
VG+: a few marks, light background noise, but overall a very nice playing record.
VG: maybe a pop here or there, background noise etc. but no skips
G+: many marks but still plays through with no skips
