Up for auction is a mid 70s Blue Note repress of Freddie Hubbard's sixth studio release for Blue Note, "Breaking Point". Recorded in spring 1964, this great quintet features some relatively lesser known players in Ronnie Matthews, Eddie Kahn and James Spaulding. Also features an incredible performance from Joe Chambers, only 21 years old at the time of recording. Just a fantastic 5 tracks with one of the standout numbers being an early rendition of Joe Chambers' "Mirrors". Utterly gorgeous.
DEAD WAX INFO:  Side 1 has BNST 84172-A etched, and VAN GELDER and STEREO stamped into the dead wax. Side 2 has BNST 84172-B etched, and VAN GELDER and STEREO stamped into the dead wax. Mid 70s Blue Note Repress.   VINYL VISUAL: VG+ and better overall with a slight edge warp, very few light marks and minor paper rash. 
VINYL PLAY GRADE:  VG+ AND WAY BETTER with AMAZING FIDELITY and a very low noise level consistent with this pressing.          
COVER VISUAL: VG+ AND BETTER with some minor corner creasing, and a small delete punch lower front left. Shows really nice.

ALL ITEMS WILL BE SHIPPED WITH PROPER MAILERS AND EXTRA PADDING, PARTICULARLY AT THE CORNERS. I HAVE MADE FAR TOO MANY PURCHASES ON EBAY WHERE THE ITEM HAS ARRIVED WITH DINGED CORNERS DUE TO INADEQUATE PACKAGING MATERIAL. BY USING FOLDED BUBBLE WRAP IN ALL FOUR CORNERS, YOU CAN BE ASSURED OF AN ITEM WITHOUT DINGED CORNERS (OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND FOR THAT MATTER).             Non-tracked shipping throughout the U.S.A will be $13 CANADIAN per item, as will tracked shipping within Canada. Tracked shipping to the U.S.A. will be $16 CANADIAN for items under 500g, and slightly more for items over 500g. Most single sleeve items can be shipped as under 500g. Gatefolds and multi-sets will be over 500g. 
Being a reasonable person, I will be absorbing ALL of the shipping material cost, and some of the actual postage cost.

IF ANYONE OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICA IS CRAZY INTERESTED IN ANY ITEM, I WILL QUOTE SHIPPING ON REQUEST.
