Description

This is the original deep groove RVG-stamped “P”-pressing of Freddie Redd “Shades of Redd” on the West 63rd labels of Blue Note BLP 4045.  The playing surface is in excellent condition, with a high luster; two inaudible scuffs.  The laminated New York 23 cover is also in excellent condition – clean and bright throughout – with slight wear at the lower right and spine corners.  Blue Note inner sleeve is included (4045 was the first Blue Note to include a printed inner sleeve).   Personnel include Jackie McLean, Tina Brooks, Paul Chambers, and Louis Hayes.  $1000.00.
