Description
This is the original RVG-stamped deep-groove "P"-pressing of Freddie Redd "Shades of Redd" on the West 63rd St. labels of Blue Note 4045. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once or twice. The laminated cover has the New York 23 address: bright and clean throughout; slight wear at the top left, bottom left, and bottom right corners; ½" x 2" lamination crease at bottom right edge; ½" wear at bottom of opening edge. Personnel includes Tina Brooks, Jackie McLean, Paul Chambers, and Louis Hayes.
