Freddie Roach - Brown Sugar 1964 1st Press Blue Note Mono DG Both Sides RVG!!
Featuring Joe Henderson on Tenor, Eddie Wright On Guitar, and Clarence Johnston on drums!
Cover: VG 1964 Original BLP 4168 mono cover with "43 West 61st St., New York 23" address on back cover. Cover displays very faint ringwear and scratches on the front cover. Spine is in good condition with text legible, albeit with some rubbing and breakage around the seams. Minor corner rubbing and bends, with the back bottom left corner having a tear.
Record: G 1964 Original Mono press. Deep Groove ''NY USA'' labels on both sides 1 and 2. "VAN GELDER" and Playsite Ear stamps are present in the deadwax on both sides. Labels show spindle wear. Record displays numerous scuffing and scratches, but nothing deep. Playback is noisy but music overpowers it for the most part. Side 1 is in better condition than Side 2 which has some groove wear on the track "The Midnight Sun". No skipping noticed. A good filler copy.
