Description: Original 12" vinyl release LP By Free - 1st self Titled. 1st Uk Press- Matrix 4307 1A/ 4308 1B. In gatefold cover. Pink i Label. Record label and cat number : Island ILPS 9104 Country of release: U.K Year of Release: 1969 Vinyl/Cover condition: VG/G+. Vinyl has been well played but no significant marking- played LP in its entirety today and there were no skips, sticks or loud pops. There was a little surface noise but mainly on quieter parts and this did not detract from my enjoyment of the music which was/is fantastic. One label has a very faded name written in biro (see picture). Gatefold cover is fully intact but a little grubby with a little discolouration on edge and name written on back of cover in top corner and inside gatefold on top left corner. Also near heavy edgewear. Low starting price gives you a chance to own a highly playable scarce 1st pressing of one of the greatest british rock albums for less than £7!!. I am selling simply because i got a better looking copy in a collection a few weeks ago. After listening to this today , am gonna check it sounds better too because Id be quite happy to keep this in my own collection! If not satisfied return for a full refund- simple as that!! Dont ask for a partial refund as you will anger the gods, be cursed to a years bad luck and not get one anyway. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER FREE AND CLASSIC ROCK ITEMS IN MY LISTINGS OR EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System as follows:- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc.I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN GOOD MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. ALL OVERSEAS ORDERS (AND SOME UK ) HAVE CORNERS REINFORCED. IF YOU HAVE 0 FEEDBACK PLEASE EMAIL ME PRIOR TO BIDDING OR I WILL CANCEL YOUR BID. EMAIL ME FIRST AND THERE SHOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM!
