DESCRIPTION: Free LP- Fire And water.  1st UK press with machine stamped A1/B1 matrix, 148gm vinyl,  MacNeil Press sleeve with "pinched-in" ends to spine, "Plastic Bags Can Be Dangerous" inner dated 0370 and Pink Island labels.
LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Island ILPS- 9120.
 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970.
COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK:
CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): G/VG+. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen, some hairlines and a lot of light  brushing lines preventing better grade.   Played in its entirety recently on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Music is generally clean and loud with a trickle of background sound and some ticks throughout.  More evident in some of the quieter tracks. Cover is in very clean condition, much better than is usually seen. It is firm and square and has only light to moderate edge wear, light to moderate corner-wear and light creasing.  No ring-wear.  Reasonable shape to fully legible spine. There is a small sticker removal graze to front cover top right hand corner.  Correct white inner is pretty clean with light wear, fully attached poly, no splits and an "M" printed to one side.  Clean labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears.
PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER POP/PSYCH/PROGRESSIVE/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 40-50 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades.
