Description
Free. Fire & Water. Original UK Very 1st Press. Pink (i) Labels. Island Records (ILPS 9120) 1970. Run-Off Grooves- A//1 1.1. / B//1 1.2.
The record looks Ex' very clean with original high gloss shine and only a very few light paper marks, it spins flat and plays Ex' for most, no sticks or jumps or clicks. The sound quality is clear with great bass, a bit of light surface noise here and there mainly at the end of 'Heavy Load' but nothing that distracts from the music.
The sleeve's on these 1st presses were light weight so didn't really stand the test of time, this one is in Vg+ condition, very clean with no sticker marks, no split seams, no rips or writings, opening edge is sharp, has the usual signs of use, some light crease lines and light edge wear but nothing major. Both labels are Ex' very clean with no writings. Plain white 'Made In Britain' inner sleeve is Ex+
Classic album in nice condition for an original 1st press of nearly 50 years old.
