Description: Original 12" vinyl release LP by Free - Tons of Sobs. Early UK press of this classic album- matrix 9089+A2/+B2. In gatefold cover and correct poly lined inner.Rough textured Pink i label. Record label and cat number : Island ILPS 9089 Country of release: U.K Year of Release: 1969. Vinyl/Cover condition: VG+/G. As you would expect for such a classic album this is pretty well played. I played it again today and the sound is really good- a loud clear cut. There is a bit of surface noise in a few quieter places that prevents me from grading this sound wise as EX . Visually it would be VG but sound is more important than aesthetics so VG+ it is. It has some surface marks but they do not spoil the record. Gatefold cover has heavy edge and spine wear- including a 1 1/2" split on back top edge. Still nice and square- no writing or sticker marks. It does have a tear on the inside back of gatefold cover about 1" long- visible on photo 3. Rough pink textured labels are pretty clean- not bad at all- no writing or rips- see photo 2. Ive put a fairly low start pice on to reflect the condition. **PLEASE CHECK OUT THE FEEDBACK FROM ANOTHER EARLY FREE LP FROM MY COLLECTION THAT I SOLD LAST WEEK***. This was from my own collection and im only getting rid of it as I got a one in better condition recently. Ill not be bothered if it doesnt sell as it will continue to be a good playing copy. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER FREE AND CLASSIC ROCK ITEMS IN MY LISTINGS OR EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System as follows:- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc.I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN GOOD MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. ALL OVERSEAS ORDERS (AND SOME UK ) HAVE CORNERS REINFORCED. IF YOU HAVE 0 FEEDBACK PLEASE EMAIL ME PRIOR TO BIDDING OR I WILL CANCEL YOUR BID. EMAIL ME FIRST AND THERE SHOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM!
