Oldish limited reissue of one of the most wanted heavy psych albums in the world. Freedom’s Children had the misfortune to be South African at a time when any product of that country was blacklisted in the rest of the world otherwise they would surely have become one of the world’s really big rock bands. They made three albums (this is their third), all of which command really big prices, for original copies, among collectors and for good reason, this is world class heavy psychedelic rock. Driving rhythm section, howling vocals, great guitar, all impeccably played and good songs too, stylistically as heavy as Sabbath at times, as psychy as early Floyd at others - great album and only for sale as I have another copy of this limited reissue which I’m keeping myself.
This is a very limited reissue, 300 copies made and this is no.205, housed in a fold out textured sleeve and in great condition.

Condition: Sleeve
Foldout semi gatefold type design, similar in design to Bill Nelson’s Northern Dream sleeve with fold over flaps inside the gatefold to hold the record. The card is thinnish with a linen type textured finish and housed in a PVC sleeve.
Condition is great without actually being mint. The front is extremely clean, no tears, now riting, one very very small very very light crease on the top right corner which isonly noticeable if you take the sleeve out of the PVC sleeve and look closely. The only other typeof wear or damage is a very slight circular impression where the record sits which looks much worse on the photo than it actually is due to the angle at which the photo was taken.
The rear sleeve is equally nice, that ciruclar impression is slightly (very slightly!) more pronounced but still not really serious (I would recommend care with storage though to prevent it getting any worse), there’s also a small light crease to the top left corner.
Because of the design there’s no real seams or spine as such but all edges of the sleeve are clean and unworn.

Condition: Record
The thick vinyl record is in every bit as good a condition as the sleeve. It’s not been played much and has been well cared for on the odd occasions when it has been out of the sleeve. The vinyl is extremely clean and has retained that lovely dark sheen which all records should have. Viewed in normal light there are no visible marks at all, viewed under a very harsh lamp the occasional extremely light hairline mark is revealed but these are totally inaudible.
Both labels are in perfect condition, very clena with no sign of damage or wear of any type.
When played the record is every bit as good as you want it to be. The sound is clean and clear with no unwanted surface noise of any type, no distortion of groovewear, no pops, clicks or crackles, no jumping or sticking, even between tracks is virtually perfectly silent, just superb and the sound quality compliments the superb music perfectly.
