Description

TITLE

'Fresh Maggots'.

LABEL

RCA

COUNTRY

ENGLAND.

YEAR

1971.

SLEEVE

Front is laminated, with a few creases, rear is purple (indicating 1st pressing - see below) with the usual ringwear and the name 'Steven' written unobtrusively in blue biro in the top left-hand corner.

VINYL

Has surface marks (one in particular on side one track two), plays through with intermittent crackle but no jumps or sticks. In addition it has a light edge warp - I playgraded it on two turntables and it makes barely any difference to the sound and doesn't cause the needle to stick or jump.

LABELS

Clean, no spindle wear.

OVERALL

A decent starter copy of this LP - it served me very well until I recently upgraded. I'm told that there were two pressings of this LP - one of 1000 copies (with a purple rear sleeve and sharper cover image) and one of 5000 copies (with a blue rear sleeve and blurrier cover image). This is the rarer purple variant.

Please note also that this is GUARANTEED not to be a bootleg or counterfeit. This is in every respect ORIGINAL.

PLEASE BE SURE TO CHECK MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MORE RARE RECORDS!

SHIPPING

I ship promptly worldwide, and do not charge 'handling' or 'packaging' fees. All LPs are sent in sturdy US-style card mailers, not the flimsy UK variants. If the high bidder requires insurance or recorded delivery, I am happy to oblige. Paypal is my preferred payment method, but if that is a problem UK cash or cheques are fine. Please note that a fee will be charged for paypal payments on this item.

MY GUARANTEE

I try to describe accurately and honestly, and my 590+ 100% positive feedback (all derived from buying and selling records) should assure you that I am not out to take advantage. I know all too well how disappointing it is to get a record through the mail and find it not to be as described. Should you be in any way dissatisfied with my description, I will be delighted to sort out the problem in a friendly and prompt manner.

THE BIDDER IS ALWAYS RIGHT!
