Description
Groundbreaking recording by Fripp and Eno. After showing Fripp a specialized tape loop technique, Eno presided over the recording of this Ambient music masterpiece. Fripp would go on to experiment heavily with this technique and come to call his version of it 'Frippertronics'. (And would make many unusual pieces with it, including Under Heavy Manners).
Good news and bad news on this particular disc. The side with the well known 'The Heavenly Music Corporation' is in EX+ condition with only the most minor of surface marks that don't affect playback at all. This is the side you want to listen to. The second side with 'Swastika Girls' has some mechanical damage that is documented in the close up photo listed above. I never listened to this side anyway. Media is in EX condition with some normal shelf and ring wear.
