Description
Here is a great 1960 release on the RCA Victor Living Stereo label (LSC-1806). Reiner conducts the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in a performance of Strauss' Also Sprach Zarathustra, Op. 30. This is the highly regarded audiophile classic, in its true first press with shaded dog labels and 1S/1S stampers.
Condition - The jacket looks pretty nice from the front, but shows wear around the edges, including a split that goes about half way across the top and light moisture damage at the bottom left corner. The jacket grades at VG. The record is shiny with light signs of use including some light marks. The record grades at VG+ by sight. I listened to both sides and enjoyed both, with small bits of noise that was noticeable in some quiet parts. The listening grade is similar to the sight grade: VG+
Regarding shipping - I ship quickly using new professional grade materials.
Regarding grading - I try to grade by Goldmine standards. I do not use the grade Mint on unsealed opened records. The highest grade I give to unsealed records is Near Mint. Grading here is strictly by sight.
