Available only to Vault members and never sold in stores! In the coming weeks I will be parting with some rare items--check back weekly for the latest and the greatest!This auction is for two items from the Vault's 7th release: Third Man Records Single Releases 2010, and The 5.6.7.8's 7" vinyl single. This vault package is in excellent condition.
First up in this auction is the double 12" 33 1/3RPM vinyl singles collection for 2010. The artists featured are Karen Elson (The Ghost Who Walks, Stolen Roses, The Truth Is In The Dirt, Season of the Witch,) The Dead Weather (Die By The Drop, Old Mary, Blue Blood Blues, Jawbreaker(Live),) Conan O'Brien (And They Call Me Mad?, Interview by Jack White,) The Secret Sisters (Big River, Wabash Cannonball,) Pujol (Black Rabbit, Too Safe,) The Greenhornes (Saying Goodbye, Stay Together, Song 13,) Drakkar Sauna (Leave That Hole Alone, Brundlefly, My Chariot,) Laura Marling (Blues Run The Game, The Needle And The Damage Done,) The Thornbills (Uncle Andrei, Square Peg,) and Wanda Jackson (Thunder On The Mountain, Dust On The Bible.) My favorites in here are The Dead Weather, Karen Elson, and Conan is just hilarious. Laura Marling's songs were a pleasant surprise.
This is a great way to be introduced to some music you might not otherwise purchase. The album cover has a small dent on a couple of corners, there are some light scuffs on the front cover. The record sleeves are not torn.
Also included in this auction is the 5.6.7.8's 7" 45RPM single featuring "Great Balls Of Fire" backed with "Hanky Panky." The original sleeve and vinyl are in excellent condition.
About the Vault recordings: There is a new vault release every 3 months and they are mailed in a single box. It is very common for the 12 inch to have dented corners, for the record sleeves to be have small tears where the record has moved around too much during shipping, or very minor surface blemishes on the vinyl that do not affect play.
