Description
From the Beginning by the Small Faces.
LK 4879
XARL 7881 8B/XARL 7882 9A
First UK mono pressing to the best of my knowledge.
Firstly, the record:
Visually very nice. A couple of light marks on either side but definitely nothing deep or upsetting. The labels show a bit of spindle wear & a name written on side A
I have play tested this record (no *visual testing only* nonsense) & it sounds good & warm like a sixties mono copy should The run ins are pretty quiet & there's really not much deterioration in sound at all except a little forgivable crackle on one or two of the quieter passages.
Secondly, the sleeve:
Really superb. A tiny little bit of laminate foxing if you're picking fault but otherwise clean, bright & undamaged with a sharp & legible spine. The pictures tell a thousand words.
Further notes:
Track B5 listed as Sheila La-La-La-Lee on the label, Sheila La La La Lee on the sleeve.
A good honest record from a good honest seller & a rare beast indeed... especially at this starting price.
Offers welcome.
I post promptly and securely second class to keep costs down and I sometimes use recycled packaging. On these occasions I upgrade to first class.
Polite disclaimer:
If you don't have the means to pay for a bid within 48 hours of sale then please let me know before bidding.
Also if you intend making an offer but you have further questions about the items for sale, then you should ask them *prior to making that offer. By making an offer you are committed to the sale should the retailer accept it as per eBay terms and conditions. Sorry to have to mention this but I've suffered some frankly rotten buying etiquette recently.
Domestic or GSP buyers only please.
Check out my feedback, bid with confidence, & thanks for looking.
