Description
Most Fruupp albums are hard to find on vinyl – the Irish prog band had a devoted cult following on the live circuit in the early 70s but didn't shift a lot in the way of album sales. A bit of a mystery really as their music ticked all the boxes for the era: virtuoso shifts from pastoral almost classical style to tight, riff-based heaviness, all laced with plenty of fantasy and a touch of whimsy.
This is a great copy with very little wear to the textured gatefold sleeve, which retains all its psychedelic glory. A little faint staining here and there but barely noticeable.
The vinyl has one or two marks and hairlines but nothing really significant, and it plays through well with the occasional tic and minor surface noise. An excellent listen, it grades between VG+ and EX-.
Excellent Dawn sunrise labels and a decent lined inner sleeve.
Very hard to find, increasingly collectable.
