Description

Ladies and gentlemen, here is a beautiful copy of the ultra rare LOOKING FOR GOLD 12" by FUCKED UP. This thing was self-released back in 2004 in two limited runs of 300 & 400 copies and immediately became one of the most infamous and sought-after modern hardcore punk releases. The title track was 17 minutes long, used 19 guitar tracks, had a three minute drum solo and contained 4 minutes of whistling, all unconventional by punk rock song-writing standards.

Here is the pressing info for the LOOKING FOR GOLD 12": (Hidden World Records 002) First Press of 300 in Sept 2004, Second Press of 400  in Feb 2005, no Test Presses. Half with stamped labels, half without.

This copy is stamped and comes from the first pressing of 300 copies. I got this when they played Chicago on a weekend tour with Career Suicide a few years ago – they also played a date in Columbus, OH with Skitsystem. This is my extra copy, I have never listened to it.

Vinyl and sleeve are of course, MINT. Also included is the big POSTER that originally came with the 12in. It reads: "LET A FOOL WALK IN DARKNESS". Not sure if that is a reference to Bulgarian communism or what.

Again, this is a first press copy, with the stamped labels, and the poster. Super rare, bid now you hot freaks. Also check out the "looking for gold" shirt that was only sold at a couple shows.

Please see my other auctions for tons of rare 80s, 90s, & current hardcore punk records. Keep checking back because I am going to be listing a ton more stuff.
