ABOUT : Awesome first part in a three part series which works great as an under-the-radar classics collection as it does an entry point to the world of funk beyond that which exists in the mainstream. There are plenty of gems to be found with Charles (the Express Yorself guy) Wright's "You Gotta Know What You're Doin'", a young Bootsy Collins showing up in the Houseguests track and the timeless classic that is the full, unexpurgated version of Wilson Pickett's "Engine Number Nine" (it should also be noted that sample spotters will be in their element here).
There are some marks to the back sleeve where the cover was damaged sticking to a surface but remains intact as pictured (hence I have downgraded the sleeve).
I'm currently selling off a notable chunk of my vinyl collection I have been accumulating on and off for the last forty years so everything I'm listing is a played, known quantity.
