LOVE, HURT AND FIRE Lp by FRANCO CRESCENZO' PROJECT MICRESOUND. Original German pressing on MORA label (FCM 7911-18). Seldom heard Lp from the Italian conga player with maverick and madcap sounding trax for DJs. Released only in Germany but everything about this project has Italian roots. FRANCOISE is Histoire de Melody Nelson / Serge Gainsbourg style druggy funk with sexy French (and Italian) vocals / big money hip hop drums and trippy basslines a la Yannis Spanos - Ekeino To Kalokairi soundtrack. F.F. FUNKY is a bass-heavy instrumental with killer congas / spacey synth and very funky breaks. Deep cosmic disco on a Giorgio Moroder tip with punk funk basslines / freaky operatic female vocals / horn stabs / polymoog / clavinet and strange orchestral sounds on the incredible EMPTY COUNTRY. Unreal synth breaks near the end so stick with it. More punky disco not disco with afro funk horn loops and funky rhythms throughout FUNKY SERENADE and trashy indie disco with demented vocals and skippy 'house' drum patterns on THE QUEEN OF MY TOWN. Very rare Lp!!!
