Description
Here is an extremely rare set of original reference acetates for Funkadelic’s legendary 1989 LP, which was shelved and has never been released in any analog format. The album was finally released as a CD in 2007 under the title of the single “By Way of the Drum,” which was the only track from the sessions that was released contemporaneously in ’89. These acetates contain all of the tracks from the intended LP and were cut on September 27, 1989 at Future Disc Systems in Hollywood. Both discs are in EX condition, close to M- with quiet and excellent playback from start to finish. Includes the original cover with track info printed on it (see pics).
