Description
Yazoo L-1031, "Funny Papa Smith: The Original Howling Wolf", from the 1970s. This is an original sealed copy, not a later pressing with bar code, and is most likely the multicolored peacock label pressing. It is entirely enclosed in shrink wrap and looks to be mint. Songs include "Honey Blues", "Seven Sisters Blues" {arts 1 and 2, "Hungry Wolf", "Mama's Quittin' and Leavin'", Parts 1 and 2, "County Jail Blues", "Howling Wolf Blues", Parts 1 and 2, "Corn Whiskey Blues", "Hoppin' Toad Frog", "Good Coffee Blues", and "Tell It to the Judge", Parts 1 and 2. Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $20.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, and Australia; elsewhere inquire. Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 per LP domestic, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, I strongly recommend registered mail for $12.00 extra. Many old records are now practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be caught in a postal conveyor belt and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window with no damage to LP or jacket. More than two LPs may be mailed together in a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped. All used LPs are play-graded on a VPI turntable with Audioquest tonearm and Grado cartridge.
