This listing is for the very RARE 7" Split 'Tropical Depression' by the Furniture Huschle / The Mountain Goats in Excellent Plus Used Condition!
Tropical Depression is a 7" single released by the Mountain Goats and Furniture Huschle in 1997 on Little Mafia Records Catalogue Number LM013.
The songs on it by the Mountain Goats were then re-released on the Mountain Goats compilation 'Ghana' in 1999.
The Mountain Goats is the main recording name for John Darnielle an Staple in the Indie Rock/Folk scene for the last 25+ years. Darnielle is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, author and all around amazing artist! He is know for is amazing lyrics and his prolificness.
'Furniture Huschle' is the recording name of Joel Huschle, a longtime friend of John Darnielle and fixture in the Inland Empire music scene who is also the lead singer of the Claremont-based band Wckr Spgt. He also played in the band Furniture One with Peter Hughes. (The Mountain Goats' released a 7" Single in 1995 entitled 'Songs for Peter Hughes'.
The paper cover sleeve is a single piece of 7" x 14" piece of paper/card stock folded in half - you can see the unfolded version in photograph 8. Also in the 3rd photo you can see where a sticker was once attached but has since been removed and left a small yellowish discolored section. Besides that the cover is in Pristine Condition.
Included is the 1997 Little Mafia Record Ordering Sheet - that originally came with the EP. Unfortunately you can't still order from
It. Though it would awesome if you could.
Again the 7" Split is super rare and this copy is in Excellent Plus Condition!
