Description

While popular, in his later years his skills were leaving him, however, this album is truly his golden years.
Furry was an artist that took pride in his work and it shows, great guitar arrangements, and you can tell he worked each song carefully and with great craftiness.

"Jelly Roll" a Hard driving song with fast fingerpicking and great descending basses
"Falling Down" Big single string runs with a constant bassline.
"Come Home" Despair and resignation with clean, crying bottleneck.
"Everybody's Blues" relaxed and swinging, brings you up.
"Mean Old Bedbug Blues" This is hilarious and bizarre, layers upon layers. Think Joe's Apt.
"Turn Your Money Green" So much imagery, I could listen to this over and over.
"Kassie Jones" one of the best versions of this railroad song, short scenes kind of just appear in your mind as you listen.

A steady accompaniment brings out the railroad context of the tale. Must have.

This record is in near mint condition but even with digital remastering these are still 1927 - 1928 recordings so don't expect it to sound like a modern studio recording.

This record will be carefully packed in a professional record mailer and shipped to you via USPS media mail. A $1 handling charge will be added to cover the cost of the record mailer, tape, printing supplies, and time.
