rare original, UK pressing – 2 Record-Set, HMV ALP series Monophonic LP, original first label, red with gold lettering and the famous "Nipper" picture in the top half of the label with the words "His Master's Voice" printed in gold in a semi-circle around the picture – Beethoven Symphony No. 9 in D minor, op. 125 "Choral" – Bayreuth Festival Orchestra conducted by Wilhelm Furtwangler. Legendary performance, recorded in the Festspielhaus, Bayreuth on the re-inauguration of the Bayreuth Festival in August, 1951, and published with permission of Wieland and Wolfgang Wagner and Frau Elisabeth Furtwangler
