Description

Wilhelm Furtwangler conducting Symphony No 2. Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra - Deutsche Grammophon 180120

2LP from 1948

This rare 2LP set looks to have not been touched in many decades.  All four sides are VG++ without scratches or play wear, or spindle marks on labels.  The LPs have been stored away in their original clear poly sleeves, and then inside of the top loading DG double gatefold sleeve.  So the grooves and the vinyl essentially have a clean unhandled look, but do show a slight dull look like a 60 year old LP will, that is why this NM set is graded VG++ rather than NM.  I have a problem grading any 60 year old set as NM.  So a solid VG++ is what we have here.

Cover again, VG++ with no splits, no writing, no sticker makrs, or any damage.  Only the faint ring which you can see in the pictures.

This is a very clean example of this rare LP, a true Furtwangler original German first pressing, in remarkable condition.
