Cover: Non-laminated gatefold cover, printed and made by the E. J. Day Group. There is a little light ringwear and some discolouration due to ageing; inevitable really given the black and white non-laminated cover. Some corner-wear and a little light rubbing on the edge, but no seam splits or tears and the opening is still fairly straight with no feathering. The spine is slightly squashed, with a little light rubbing, but the text is clear and legible. Strictly graded as VG+.
Inner Sleeve: Original blue and white poly-lined inner sleeve with “British patent No. 800613” and “Foreign patents pending” text. There is some discolouration near the top opening edge and the sides, where the glue has stained through with age, but there are no tears and no seam splits.
Labels: Original yellow labels, with a couple of light spindle trails on side 1 and one on side 2.
Vinyl: Looks near-mint under normal lighting. Under a halogen light I can see a few spots on side 2, where the vinyl has reacted with the polythene of the inner sleeve, but this has no impact on playback whatsoever. Plays near-mint throughout; no pops, ticks, skips or distortion.
Additional Info: All of the vinyl that I am selling is from my personal collection, and has been cleaned on a VPI HW 16.5 Record Cleaning Machine. After cleaning, I keep my records in ‘Mobile Fidelity’ rice paper inner sleeves and store them with the records outside of the covers.
